I love making valentines. They always turn out so pretty because of the colors, and people really love knowing that you love them! I have gotten into the habit of sending valentines to my family members with love notes. It really means a lot to the recipients, and I love spending the time thinking about exactly what to write in each one. Angie chose valentines for the current Paper Crafting World challenge, and I’m happy she did!! There were lots of files that would work for valentines (almost any image works!)
Here are two that I made specifically for this challenge:
For these shaped cards, I used the Love Bandit file.
This little cutie is the Bear n’ Cupcake. The font on the tag is Cheri.
Here are valentines I made using the extra cuts left over from other projects:
This is the Celeste Butterfly file. I just love her outfit!!
This valentine features the Kisses 2U bear and the double heart freebie. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that I almost never make only one paper-piecing at a time. With Sure Cuts A Lot and the other cutting programs on the market, it’s just as easy to make multiples of everything and save the extras for later. They really come in handy to make last minute cards and gifts!
We’d love to see your valentines!! Enter the valentine challenge over at Cooking With Cricut! There are some awesome freebie files over there for you to use!! I just picked ine up. Stop back next Tuesday to see what I do with mine!
