Sounds of the Season. I love Christmas carols (caveat – starting about one week before Christmas, not one month before!) When I was growing up, my parents had a record of Christmas carols. For the life of me, I can’t figure out who the artists were or the name of the album, but I loved it so. There were four people on the cover, two men and two women, and I thought the short-haired brunette woman looked just like me!
One of my favorite songs from that album was Home for the Holidays. I love a full house. Now my favorite album is Jim Nabors’ Christmas Album, especially his booming “Go Tell it on the Mountain.” We blast that every Christmas morning!
This little scene is from page 29 of Joys of the Season Cartridge, and the music note is from Quarter Note. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder from the Cuttle Bug to give the snow some texture. I had to add an extra tree, though, because the embossing folder has a small margin on the bottom that makes the paper flat in that area! No matter how I tried, I couldn’t get it to be dotty, so I just camouflaged it with a little tree!
Go check out what the other talented designers came up with for this theme over at Cooking With Cricut. Don’t forget to read the rules carefully and enter yourself into the drawing for this week’s prizes! Good luck!
