Wild Cards

My husband surprised me with two Cricut cartridges for my birthday – Wild Card and Storybook!  I needed a sympathy card and a Thinking of You card, so I tried out my new Wild Card cartridge.

The patterned paper is from the Spring All Over paper pad by G C D.  I think the solid is Stampin’ Up.

I cut the envelope first by using the Fit to Page feature at (I think) 5 1/2, so I set the card to cut at the same setting.

The second card is from page 47, the Tweety Card.  Again, I cut the envelope first on fit to page, but  I used the blackout feature  because I didn’t want a cute little bird on a sympathy card.  After the card was cut, I measured the window then used the flower cut from page 51 on the Pagoda cartridge to fit.  I glued that image onto the inside of the card.  The striped purple is from DCWV’s Nana’s Nursery stack.  The purple is from a pack my husband bought me!

Great birthday!!

Anyway, I found a blogger that has made a video tutorial for every card on the Wild Card cartridge!  It’s Creations with Christina.  Go take a look!
