There was a little girl
Who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
When she was good, she was very, very good
But when she was bad, she was horrid!
This nursery rhyme describes my ATG gun perfectly! Having my ATG gun has really sped up my crafting. It just glides the tape on – zip, zip, zip and it’s done. I use the Gold tape that’s acid free and use it for most of my adhesive needs. I buy it from Framing Supplies.com. I love how I always have plenty of adhesive. It comes off easily with a wipe of my finger if I make a mistake or have some tape showing on the front of the item. When I first put on a new roll, it rolls on so smoothly and easily and I LOVE IT!
Then about half-way through the roll, it starts to become tight. I have to press real hard to get it to work. Soon thereafter, the tape breaks. I either remove the used-up part on the right-hand spool and re-thread the machine, or just take the rest of the roll out and use it by hand. Either way, it’s a pain in the neck, but I”m not going to just throw it away. It cost money!!
So, I called the 3M customer service number. They were very nice. The man explained that the model I have is an older one that’s defective. They have since improved the design and they’re going to send me a replacement! They sent me a postage-paid label, and I returned my old one. When they get it, they’ll send the replacement. I hope it works smoothly! Can’t wait!
