A Picturesque bird

I cut this blue bird and branch from the Picturesque cartridge, which came with my new Cricut Expression.  It’s the “corner” feature of the image found on page 59 of the handbook.

I cut the bird-and-branch (shift + corner) with brown.  I cut the bird itself two times — once with blue paper and once with yellow paper — and cut off the legs and feet from the blue.  I used chalk to highlight the wing.  I didn’t use dimensionals behind him because he’s already three layers thick, and that popped him up a bit.  There is no sentiment inside.  I’ll add one when I’m ready to use the card.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
