Winter cards

My bright plan to send everyone homemade Christmas cards fell apart.  I got too late a start.  The remainder of the people on my list (those whose last names begin with M – Z) will be getting Happy Winter cards instead!

The scalloped oval on the card that says Winter on it is from the Lacy Labels Cricut cartridge.  The snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch, and the word Winter was cut using SCAL software.  The font is Lightfoot Bold.

The adorable snowman is from MyScrapChick Fairy Bears Winter set.

The polar bear is from Cricut’s Joys of the Season cartridge, and the border is from their Winter Frolic cartridge.  Winter Frolic has great borders!  Most are for year round use.  This one is just a flourish, but I’m using it to look like snow drifts.  I used the Cuttlebug I got for Christmas! to emboss the sky with snowflakes.

The background paper on the first two cards is from DCWV Christmas Combo 180 pack.  The blue on the polar bear card is card stock from Staples.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
