Some more Halloween cards

I gave myself a challenge this morning.  I wanted to use my new Mini-Monsters Cricut cartridge to make some Halloween cards, but I didn’t want to have to choose which of the adorable images to use.  So I decided to just flip to a random page and let fate make the choice for me.  It opened to page 68, the witch’s hat.  I used the phrase feature.  I set the machine to 3” and cut the phrase itself in black cardstock (6 of them.)  I cut six phrase shadows out of metallic black, and using shift-phrase, I cut two orange, two purple and two bright green.  That way, I could mix-n-match and not have a monochromatic piece.  I used plain cardstock and Martha Stewart Holidays punch pad papers for the card fronts, with black/white checkered ribbon from Michaels.

This is how they turned out.  There are two of each color combination.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
