I originally bought my Cricut and Sure Cuts A Lot program so that I could make titles for my scrapbook pages using any of the 300+ fonts on my computer. Way back when, while I could still delude myself into thinking that I wouldn’t buy any cartridges, I bought and/or downloaded free dingbats and doodlebats so that I could also cut out adorable images for paper piecing. One of my first doodlebats was DB Chill Out from Lettering Delights, which is a free download this month (click here.) When I saw Jin Yong’s post about it, I brought that set to my SCAL mat and created this card:
The tree is the letter G, the girl penguin is the zero key, and the boy penguin with the scarf is the letter S. I really had fun manipulating them. Of course, I have eight more of each, so you’ll probably see them again soon!
