So, in 2003 we get this phone call from Mike. The first words out of his mouth are “I just want you to know I’m OKAY.” You never want to hear those words!!
He had an accident at work and almost lost his pinkie; it was only hanging on by tissue. He was driven to the hospital, had surgery, and was back in his college dorm room when he called us the next morning. These are his xrays. He still has his pinkie attached, although it has a funny shape now.

I would had been so upset. My son called BEFORE going to the hospital so I was a wreck. Your son certainly stepped up to the plate and took care of the situation. I’m so glad he was able to keep his pinkie. A great scrapbook bunches of pages to mark the occasion.
